PLANT OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE. 5.1 Subject to the provisions of the Agreement, the Company shall organize operation and maintenance of the Project so as to ensure optimum utilization of the water potential and if required, affect improvement (within the overall scope of the Project implementation) in the Project in accordance with: (i) Prudent Utility Practices; (ii) all applicable Laws and directives; (iii) the manuals, instructions and manufacturers' guidelines supplied by construction contractors, manufacturers of equipments/suppliers etc; (iv) the Grid Technical Limits as described in Schedule- II; (v) Despatch Instructions; and (vi) rated capacity subject to normal derating/deterioration.
