Plumbing Trade Allowance. The plumbing trade allowances will be paid to compensate for the following classes of work whether or not such work is performed in any one week: • work requiring a swing scaffold, swing seat or rope, or on a ladder exceeding eight metres in height; • clearing stoppages in soil or waste pipes, or sewer drain pipes, also repairing and putting same in proper order; • work in any confined space; • work in wet places; • dirty or offensive work. Employees in who are engaged as irrigation installers will be paid an allowance to compensate for the following classes of work whether or not such work is performed in any one week: • work in any confined space; • work in wet places; • dirty or offensive work; • work in a place where fumes of sulphur or other acid or other offensive fumes are present; • disabilities associated with the wearing of protective equipment during the use of toxic substances.

Plumbing Trade Allowance. The plumbing trade allowance is a rounded-up allowance based on compensation for a number of the individual allowances covering particular types of work listed below. (a) an Employee in a classification at or exceeding plumbing tradesperson will be paid the plumbing trade allowance of $29.23 per week.

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Fast Food Allowance As of 1 October 2020 the Employer shall pay an allowance of $2.75 per hour on all fast food construction, and on refurbishments with a building permit value in excess of $470,000. These allowances will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2021, rounded to the nearest 5 cents. On any Project where the applicable site allowance in Appendix C is higher, then that site allowance will apply.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance Employees required to work more than two (2) hours overtime consecutive with a shift shall be provided with a meal by the Employer.

  • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or at any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of thirty-five cents ($0.35) per mile (to a maximum of fourteen dollars ($14.00)) or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours. The employee will provide to the Hospital satisfactory proof of payment of such taxi fare.

  • Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.
