Common use of Policy and Group Grievance Clause in Contracts

Policy and Group Grievance. The Bargaining Unit has the right to file a policy grievance or group grievance on behalf of Occasional Teachers who are affected as a result of an alleged violation of the Collective Agreement. The Board has the right to file a policy grievance. Any policy or group grievance must be filed within twenty (20) days of the event which gave rise to the grievance or within twenty (20) days of the time when the party should reasonably be expected to be aware of the relevant facts. Such grievance shall be filed at Step Two.
