Common use of Policy Grievance Board Clause in Contracts

Policy Grievance Board. The Board may file a written grievance where a dispute involving a question of general application or interpretation of the Collective Agreement arises. The Board Grievance shall be filed with the President of the Bargaining Unit or designate within ten (10) working days of the Board becoming aware of the circumstances which gave rise to the grievance. The President of the Bargaining Unit or designate shall meet with the Board to discuss the policy grievance. Within ten (10) working days of receipt, of the grievance by the President of the Bargaining Unit or designate. The President of the Bargaining Unit or designate shall provide a written response to the grievance to the Director of Education within ten (10) working days of the meeting. If the response of the President of the Bargaining Unit or designate is not satisfactory, the Board may refer the grievance to arbitration within twenty
