Health and Safety Provisions The Employer shall continue to make and enforce provisions for the occupational health, safety, and security of employees. The Employer will respond to suggestions on the subject from the Union and the parties undertake to consult with a view to adopting and expeditiously carrying out reasonable procedures and techniques designed or intended to prevent or reduce the risk of employment injury and employment-related chronic illness.
Study Population Infants who underwent creation of an enterostomy receiving postoperative care and awaiting enterostomy closure: to be assessed for eligibility: n = 201 to be assigned to the study: n = 106 to be analysed: n = 106 Duration of intervention per patient of the intervention group: 6 weeks between enterostomy creation and enterostomy closure Follow-up per patient: 3 months, 6 months and 12 months post enterostomy closure, following enterostomy closure (12-month follow-up only applicable for patients that are recruited early enough to complete this follow-up within the 48 month of overall study duration).
Eligible Population 5.1 Program eligibility is determined by applicable law set forth in Program rules and the requirements established in the Program Policy Manual.
Quality- and Cost-Based Selection Except as ADB may otherwise agree, the Borrower shall apply quality- and cost-based selection for selecting and engaging consulting services.
Substance Abuse Testing The Parties agree that it is in the best interest of all concerned to promote a safe working environment. The Union has no objection to pre-employment substance abuse testing when required by the Employer and further, the Union has no objection to voluntary substance abuse testing to qualify for employment on projects when required by a project owner. The cost and scheduling of such testing shall be paid for and arranged by the Employer. The Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for any failed pre-access Alcohol and Drug test costs.
Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Contractor understands that HHS does not tolerate any type of fraud, waste, or abuse. Violations of law, agency policies, or standards of ethical conduct will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken. Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 321.022, if the administrative head of a department or entity that is subject to audit by the state auditor has reasonable cause to believe that money received from the state by the department or entity or by a client or contractor of the department or entity may have been lost, misappropriated, or misused, or that other fraudulent or unlawful conduct has occurred in relation to the operation of the department or entity, the administrative head shall report the reason and basis for the belief to the Texas State Auditor’s Office (SAO). All employees or contractors who have reasonable cause to believe that fraud, waste, or abuse has occurred (including misconduct by any HHS employee, Grantee officer, agent, employee, or subcontractor that would constitute fraud, waste, or abuse) are required to immediately report the questioned activity to the Health and Human Services Commission's Office of Inspector General. Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and System Agency policies regarding fraud, waste, and abuse including, but not limited to, HHS Circular C-027. Medical Benefits - Prescription Drugs Administered by a Provider (other than a pharmacist) This plan covers prescription drugs as a medical benefit, referred to as “medical prescription drugs”, when the prescription drug requires administration (or the FDA approved recommendation is administration) by a licensed healthcare provider (other than a pharmacist). Please note: Specialty prescription drugs meeting these requirements or recommendations are covered as a pharmacy benefit and not a medical benefit. These medical prescription drugs include, but are not limited to, medications administered by infusion, injection, or inhalation, as well as nasal, topical or transdermal administered medications. For some of these medical prescription drugs, the cost of the prescription drug is included in the allowance for the medical service being provided, and is not separately reimbursed.
