POSITION AND TITLE: Network Analyst Specialist. Works under the direction of the Director of Information Technology and will be in charge of managing and maintaining systems and services. He / She will solve end- user problems, complete scheduled routine maintenance, undertake operating Windows / Linux system administration tasks, and take proactive steps in the monitoring of the environment and carry out assigned project work. The Network Analyst Specialist will also support the Exchange and other servers as required. Key Responsibilities: * Performs system back-ups, recover lost CUPW data ▪ ensure essential data is backed up; ensure off-site storage strategy is working; check logs for warnings/errors and resolve those issues; change tapes; clean tape drives; order and manage tapes using physical and logical labels; execute bi- annual recovery tests * Maintain CUPW Data Security and IntegritySecurity patches applied ▪ Check firewall/VPM logs ▪ Remain current on the security patches and apply them in a timely manner ▪ Ensure the current security configuration is recoverable and tested (firewall / VPN) ▪ Ensure current corporate anti-virus solution, monitor and test * Manage Network Servers (Responsible for configuration, operation, and administration of network server hardware, operating systems, system level support and communications links. Client File, Exchange, others as required) ▪ Ensure security permissions are set correctly and all shares are enabled/disabled accordingly ▪ Manage Active Directory: add/modify/remove; users/groups/distribution-lists as requested; if required ensure that essential data is being replicated correctly between the domain controllers; ensure that essential network service databases (such as WINS) are working and being backed up; manage network services such as DHCP and DNS ▪ Manages the maintenance of server hardware and software by scheduling preventative maintenance, software installation, hardware and software upgrades. ▪ Knowledge of these systems are a must!); also ensure that ▪ Anti-relaying/spamming/virus for the mail system is working * Manage LAN / WAN connectivity ▪ May included configuration and basic programming of Hubs and Routers ensure all network-enabled devices(workstations, servers, switches, printers, etc.) have the correct network settings and are working as expected; ensure that these devices’ software and configuration are current, monitored and tested to minimize failure and possible security breaches ▪ Maintain orderly connections between the ...

  • Information Technology Enterprise Architecture Requirements If this Contract involves information technology-related products or services, the Contractor agrees that all such products or services are compatible with any of the technology standards found at xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/iot/2394.htm that are applicable, including the assistive technology standard. The State may terminate this Contract for default if the terms of this paragraph are breached.

  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control Contractor shall establish and maintain a quality assurance/quality control program which shall include procedures for continuous control of all construction and comprehensive inspection and testing of all items of Work, including any Work performed by Subcontractors, so as to ensure complete conformance to the Contract with respect to materials, workmanship, construction, finish, functional performance, and identification.
