Posting of Shift Schedules. (a) Shift and standby schedules shall be posted at least four (4) weeks in advance of the schedule to be worked and the schedule shall be for a minimum of two (2) weeks. The Employer shall make every reasonable effort not to change shifts. If the Employer changes the shift schedule within forty-eight (48) hours of the shift, the Employee(s) affected shall be entitled to overtime compensation for that shift. The Employer must inform Employees of the shift changes made to the posted schedules. (b) When the Employer requires an Employee who is regularly scheduled to work Monday through Friday, to work on a weekend as part of their regular bi-weekly hours the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to provide the Employee with four (4) weeks’ notice, but in any case not less than two (2) weeks’ notice of the weekend work.
