Common use of Pre-Grievance Process Clause in Contracts

Pre-Grievance Process. (a) Where an employee(s) has a workplace issue that could lead to a grievance, the Union will notify the Employer via e-mail within 7 days of the date the employee(s) became aware of the issue. The employee and a representative of the Union will attempt to resolve the matter with the Employer informally by providing the relevant facts, documentation and discussing the details of the issue.
