Industrial Work. Site and Environmental Conditions, Inclement Weather
(a) Issues respecting:
(i) Extreme temperatures (on site or in employer-provided or owner- provided accommodations)
(ii) Air quality, and
(iii) Site environmental hazards
(b) The guideline charts at pages 40, 42 and 49 in the booklet posted at xxxxx://xxx-xxxxxxxx.xxxxxx.xxxxxxx.xx/gs006 shall be among the considerations taken into account by employers, and by the joint committee or health and safety representatives when evaluating precautions required in extreme or adverse weather conditions.
Industrial Work. The Employer shall pay to the Employee for each hour worked (not including any pay for time traveled) a vacation allowance equal to six (6%) percent of the applicable rate of pay, and a holiday pay allowance equal to four (4%) percent of the applicable rate of pay. Non-Industrial Work - The Employer shall pay to the employee for each hour worked (as defined in Article Seven hereof) a vacation allowance equal to six (6%) percent of the employee's straight time hourly rate, and a holiday pay allowance equal to four (4%) percent of the employee's straight time hourly rate.
Industrial Work. Each Employer shall make a contribution to the Delaware Valley Industrial Painters Alliance, Inc. Industry Advancement Fund (Industry Advancement Fund) at a rate of Two Cents ($.02) for each hour worked by each employee who is engaged in performing industrial painting or coating work of any kind including, without limitations, bridge, tank or structural steel painting or coating services. The Administrator of the Funds shall collect the Industry Advancement Fund monies and remit these contributions to the Delaware Valley Industrial Painters Alliance, Inc. (DVIPA) on a monthly basis together with a report detailing the amounts collected from each Employer. This Industry Advancement Fund shall be established and administered by the DVIPA, which shall use monies from this Fund to pay for programs and expenses intended to support and advance the Industrial Painting and Coating Industry. The Industry Advancement Fund also shall be used to pay the operating costs of the DVIPA, including expenses associated with the promotion of stability of relations between labor and management, conducting of safety campaigns, public relations campaigns, and education programs, the DVIPA’s costs of collective bargaining, the DVIPA’s cost of the representation it receives in the adjustment of grievances and in arbitration, and such other programs and expenses as will be beneficial to the Industrial Painting and Coating industry.
Industrial Work. (i) time and one-half (1½x) for the first two (2) hours of overtime worked on a week day, being Monday through Friday inclusive.
(ii) when compressed work weeks are scheduled pursuant to Article
Industrial Work. (a) In respect to work which falls within the definition of industrial work as set out in Article 5.02, the Employer shall engage only those Sub- contractors who are signatory or bound by this Agreement to perform work in the classifications herein contained. The Employer agrees to notify the Union of the name of such Sub- contractors prior to the Sub-contractor commencing work on the project.
Industrial Work. All work as described in this section must have prior written approval of the Union. All work performed in industrial facilities outside the normal working hours may be done at the rate of Twenty percent (20%) over the regular hourly rates. Separate office buildings on the site of the industrial facility may be painted under this provision provided that the contract for the work to be performed includes work in other parts of the facility. The aforesaid scale of wages shall apply from 4:30 p.m. Monday to 2:30 a.m.
Industrial Work. Any and all work performed on an industrial project will be performed under this Agreement unless otherwise covered by a separate agreement.
Industrial Work. 1401 The following work shall apply solely in consideration of the specific items and articles existing in this Collective Agreement such as determining apprentice ratios and Saturday overtime rates. Work performed under this Agreement in refineries, transmission facilities including meter pumping and compressor stations, sub-stations, (the installation of privately owned unit sub-stations for the sole purpose of commercial/institutional use will be recognized as commercial work), capacitor stations, power generation facilities exceeding 50 Megawatts, bulk loading terminals, ports and grain elevators, mines, mills, cement plants, smelters, liquid natural gas processing and production facilities, pulp and paper xxxxx, and chemical plants will be considered industrial work. Dedicated office/administration space within the foregoing list will not be considered industrial work. Additional types of work may be added by mutual agreement of the Parties.
Industrial Work. For the purpose of this Agreement, an Industrial Plant or Project shall mean Manufacturing, Production and Processing Plants (examples: pulp and paper plants, sawmills, distilleries, breweries, bottling plants (other than plants for carbonated beverages), glass plants, chemical plants, oil refineries, gas or scrubbing plants, fertilizer plants, environmental systems for industrial plants, sewage treatment and water treatment for industrial use, heavy water plants, nuclear and atomic energy plants, etc.); Mining (including offshore drilling platforms and rigs); Transmission Facilities which includes meter stations, valve stations, pumping stations, compressor stations, drilling rigs and tank farms, dams, hydroelectric projects, and all facilities used in the generation of electricity including converter stations and switch yards.
Industrial Work. On request of the signatory Sheet Metal Companies, Local 437 of Sheet Metal Workers International Association will furnish Journeymen, Apprentice and Welders. All workmen so furnished will be recruited from the jurisdiction of Local 437 of Sheet Metal Workers
