Common use of Pre-grievance requirements Clause in Contracts

Pre-grievance requirements. Any person with a problem requiring resolution must first discuss the problem with the appropriate supervisor who has the authority to resolve the matter, either directly or through a representative with the objective of resolving the matter informally. If resolution is not affected, a grievance may be filed within six (6) calendar weeks of the event or circumstances giving rise to the alleged grievance.
