Pre-Grievance Resolution. (a) Complaints shall be brought to the attention of the Employee’s immediate Supervisor or an appropriate University representative within 20 Working Days after the Employee became aware or ought reasonably to have become aware of the incident or circumstances giving rise to the complaint. In the event the Employee feels they cannot give their immediate Supervisor or an appropriate University representative an opportunity to address the complaint, they may file a grievance in accordance with Article 6.07(a). (b) The Supervisor or appropriate University representative will respond to the complaint within 5 Working Days and, if the matter is not resolved, it may be taken up as a grievance in accordance with Article 6.07(a).
