Common use of Pre-natal Appointments or Parenting Classes Clause in Contracts

Pre-natal Appointments or Parenting Classes. If an Employee is required to attend pre-natal appointments or parenting classes and such appointments or classes are only available or can only be attended during the ordinary rostered shift of an Employee, then on production of satisfactory evidence of attendance at such appointment or class, the Employee may access his or her accrued personal leave. The Employee must give the Employer prior notice of the Employee's intention to take such leave.
