BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. An Employer will release full-time Employees upon request on a maximum of two occasions per year to donate blood in paid time at a nominated time where a mobile collection unit or donor collection centre is located within five kilometres of the aged care facility. Employees will give at least seven days’ notice to the Employer and such release will take into account the staffing and workload needs of the facility.
BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. 56.1 The Employer will release Employees upon request to donate blood where a collection unit is on site or by arrangement at the local level.

BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. The parties agree to the following text regarding blood donor's leave, subject to advice regarding medical restrictions on driving following donation of blood. In the event that there are restrictions placed on employees that would impact on the employees' work for the following day (and any subsequent day) it shall not apply to those employees.
10.1 Subject to the remainder of this clause, in the case of an emergency, or where it is impracticable to donate blood outside of working hours, a weekly employee who is absent during ordinary rostered working hours for the purpose of donating blood shall not suffer any deduction of pay, up to a maximum of two hours on each occasion, and subject to a maximum of four separate absences for the purpose of donating blood each calendar year.
10.2 Provided that an employee taking leave referred to in paragraph 10.1, above, shall arrange for his or her absence to be no more than two hours from the end of his or her ordinary rostered working hours for that day.
10.3 Provided further that, where an employee seeks to donate blood in accordance with this clause on the basis that it is impracticable to donate outside rostered working hours, the employee shall provide the manager with at least forty eight hours notice of his or her intention to donate blood, and the reasons why it is impracticable outside of working hours. Permission to take such leave will be conditional on it being granted so as to not disrupt the daily work schedule.
10.4 Notwithstanding anything else contained in this clause, employees who are engaged at a site which arranges for blood donation to occur at the employer's place of work, whether inside working hours or not, at least once every six months, shall not be entitled to take blood donors leave, except in the case of emergency.
10.5 Notwithstanding anything contained in this clause, where medical restrictions are placed on an employee following the donation of blood which impact on an employee's capacity to perform their next rostered shift (or any subsequent rostered shifts), the employee shall not be entitled to take blood donor's leave.
BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. 33.1. A permanent Employee who attends a recognised clinic for the purpose of donating blood during working hours shall (subject to normal xxxxxxx requirements) be allowed the necessary leave of absence without loss of pay on not more than four occasions in each twelve months. Provided an Employee shall not be entitled to payment with respect to time lost in excess of two hours on each occasion. An Employee shall notify the Employer as soon as possible of the time and date upon which they are intending to be absent for the purpose of donating blood.
BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. 5.12.1 Each Employee shall be afforded two (2) hours leave with pay twice each calendar year or more frequently by agreement to donate blood, bone marrow or other mutually agreed community based work.
5.12.2 The Employee may be required to provide proof of attendance in order to be paid.
BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. An employee shall not suffer any deduction in pay when attending Blood Bank during normal working hours, to donate blood up to four times per year. The employee shall, before donating blood, provide adequate notice to and obtain the supervisor's approval for the absence from duties.

An employer will release full‐time employees upon request on a maximum of two occasions per calendar year, without loss of pay, for the purpose of donating blood within a regularly scheduled day or shift at a nominated time where a mobile collection unit or donor collection centre is located within ten kilometres of the employee’s place of work.
b. Employees will give at least seven days’ notice to the employer and such release will consider the staffing and workload needs of the employer.
BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. An Employee, other than a casual, will be entitled to paid leave for up to two hours per attendance up to a maximum of four attendances each year to donate blood in the local area.
BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. Any employee donating blood will not be financially disadvantaged. The procedure and process of donating blood will be decided at site level.
