Pre-requisite Courses/Class Standing. JCC transfer students who meet all admission criteria for the BS OT degree program set forth by the Keuka college catalog will enter Keuka at the junior class level provided they meet the following pre-requisites: • complete two 3-credit courses in any one or more of the following disciplines: economics, political science, history, religion, or any foreign language or American sign language, • complete one 3-credit course in any fine/performing arts discipline (includes all JCC courses in Art, Dance, Music, and Theater) , • complete an introductory psychology course, • complete an ethics course (includes JCC courses PHL 2610, PHL 2630, and PHL 2720), • complete a research methods course (note that JCC does not offer this course), and • complete Keuka online course OCC 225 Occupational Science in the summer preceding entry into the program With the exception of OCC 225, students may take these additional courses at JCC or another college with Keuka course equivalencies. A minimum grade of C is required for transfer to Keuka. Keuka may, pending successful course completion at Keuka, provisionally accept students who have not taken all of the above courses.

  • MANAGEMENT RIGHTS 3.01 The Union acknowledges that all management rights and prerogatives are vested exclusively with the Employer and without limiting the generality of the foregoing; it is the exclusive function of the Employer:

  • GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE 7.01 For purposes of this Agreement, a grievance is defined as a difference arising between the parties relating to the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of the Agreement including any question as to whether a matter is arbitrable.

  • Waiver The waiver by any party hereto of a breach of any provision of this Agreement shall not operate or be construed as a waiver of any other or subsequent breach.

  • Termination for Convenience TIPS may, by written notice to Vendor, terminate this Agreement for convenience, in whole or in part, at any time by giving thirty (30) days’ written notice to Vendor of such termination, and specifying the effective date thereof.

  • Dimensions Education Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design, software development, database management systems and systems integration in multi-platform environments.

  • Compliance with Laws Comply in all material respects with the requirements of all Laws and all orders, writs, injunctions and decrees applicable to it or to its business or property, except in such instances in which (a) such requirement of Law or order, writ, injunction or decree is being contested in good faith by appropriate proceedings diligently conducted; or (b) the failure to comply therewith could not reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.

  • Bereavement Leave (a) Upon the death of an employee's spouse, spouse to include same sex partner, child or stepchild, an employee shall be granted leave up to a maximum of five (5) continuous calendar days without loss of pay. One of the days of leave shall include the day of the funeral or equivalent service. Additional days off with or without pay may be granted by the Employer. Part-time employees will be credited with seniority and service for all such leave. In the event of a delayed interment or ceremony for reason of religion or other protected grounds under the Ontario Human Rights Code, an Employee may save one of the days identified above without loss of pay to attend the interment or ceremony.

  • Non-Discrimination 1. Nationals of a Contracting State shall not be subjected in the other Contracting State to any taxation or any requirement connected therewith, which is other or more burdensome than the taxation and connected requirements to which nationals of that other State in the same circumstances, in particular with respect to residence, are or may be subjected. This provision shall, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 1, also apply to persons who are not residents of one or both of the Contracting States.

  • Amendment This Warrant may be modified or amended or the provisions hereof waived with the written consent of the Company and the Holder.

  • Definitions As used in this Agreement, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
