Pregnancy/Adoption. There are three (3) types of leave that may be available to bargaining unit members immediately after the birth or adoption of a child: sick leave, FMLA, and unpaid child-rearing leave. The use of sick and FMLA leaves shall run concurrently. Use of unpaid child rearing leave shall commence immediately upon the conclusion of the use of sick and/or FMLA leave.
