PREMIUM PAY FOR BILINGUAL SKILLS. Notwithstanding Los Angeles Administrative Code Section 4.170, Unit employees who were not receiving premium pay for bilingual skills on January 1, 2010, will no longer qualify to receive premium pay for bilingual skills. Unit employees who were receiving premium pay for bilingual skills on January 1, 2010, will continue to receive such pay as long as they are continuously assigned to a position in which they are required to utilize those bilingual skills on a regular basis.
