Premium Rate for Work on Holidays. ‌ 11.3.1 An employee who works on an actual or Library-observed holiday on which the Library is open to the public will be paid for hours worked and credited CTO for the number of hours regularly scheduled to work, up to eight (8) hours or a prorated amount for part-time employees. 11.3.2 Any regular full-time or part-time employee required to work on an actual or Library-observed holiday on which the Library is closed to the public will be compensated for holiday hours for the number of hours regularly scheduled to work, up to eight (8) hours or a prorated amount for part-time employees, plus time and a half of base pay for all hours actually worked on the holiday. 11.3.3 An employee who works both the actual and Library-observed holiday may only receive the holiday premium rate for hours worked on one of those days, to be selected by the employee.
