Preparation Time – Negotiations. During the period when at-table negotiation meetings between the District and LRCEA are scheduled, two (2) hours per week of release time from work without loss of compensation may be used by a negotiation team member in preparation of such contract negotiation meetings. Each negotiation team member shall provide his or her immediate supervisor/manager reasonable advance notice of such release time and such release time will be granted provided that it does not interfere with the efficient operations of the District.

  • Preparation Time 1. Each full-time elementary teacher shall receive 100 minutes of preparation time per week scheduled in accordance with the Previous Collective Agreement.

  • Annual Negotiations Negotiations will be conducted each year according to the ground rules as mutually agreed upon prior to negotiations. Ground Rules (see APPENDIX F - GROUND RULES) used at the previous year's sessions will serve as the basis for discussing any changes before adopting ground rules for the current negotiating sessions. It is recognized that the preparation period is a scheduled part of the teacher's work day and the teacher is expected to be in his/her respective Building. If the teacher must leave the Building during his/her preparation and/or lunch period, he/she must notify the Building switchboard operator.

  • PROFESSIONAL NEGOTIATIONS A. Not later than March 1 of the calendar year in which this Agreement expires, the Association and the District will begin negotiations for a successor Agreement. Any Agreement so negotiated will apply to all teachers, and will be reduced to writing and signed by the District and the Association.
