Preparing for upcoming retirement. Employees who are close to retirement may take part in training courses in preparation for retirement in the year preceding the year of their retirement. For this purpose, they receive four days of paid leave. The costs of the courses will be reimbursed up to a maximum of €1,000. A condition is that the course takes place in the Netherlands and is organised by a recognised and certified training institute.
