Verification of Employment Eligibility. By executing this Agreement, Consultant verifies that it fully complies with all requirements and restrictions of state and federal law respecting the employment of undocumented aliens, including, but not limited to, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, as may be amended from time to time, and shall require all subconsultants and sub-subconsultants to comply with the same.

Verification of Employment Eligibility. Contractor must comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) and may not knowingly obtain labor or services of an unauthorized alien. Contractor -- not City -- must verify eligibility for employment as required by IRCA.

Such violation shall be cause for unilateral cancellation of this contract. 16.10.2 Pursuant to the provisions of section 448.095, Florida Statutes, the parties agree to the following. For purpose of this section, the term “contract” includes this Agreement and any contract between the CONSULTANT and any of CONSULTANT’s subcontractor(s): (a) Beginning January 1, 2021, the OWNER, the CONSULTANT, and any of CONSULTANT’s subcontractor(s) shall register with and use the E-Verify system to verify the work authorization status of all newly hired employees. The OWNER, the CONSULTANT, and any of CONSULTANT’s subcontractor(s) may not enter into a contract unless each party to the contract registers with and uses the E-Verify system. (b) 1. If the CONSULANT enters into a contract with a subcontractor, the subcontractor must provide the CONSULTANT with an affidavit stating that the subcontractor does not employ, contract with, or subcontract with an unauthorized alien.

Stat. shall result in termination of this Contract. Any challenge to termination under this provision must be filed in the Circuit Court no later than 20 calendar days after the date of termination. If this Contract is terminated for a violation of the statute by Contractor, Contractor may not be awarded a public contract for a period of 1 year after the date of termination.
