Pressure Gauges. Gauges shall be entirely made of stainless steel and shall have 100 mm diameter white dials, back blowout protection and seals where application requires them. Where excessive vibration is probable, liquid filled dampening devices shall be used. Snubbers shall be provided for pulsating/oscillating services. Over range protectors shall be provided where the design pressure of vessel/system exceeds the maximum over range pressure. Ranges shall be: 0-1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, 16, 25, 40, 60, 100, 160, 250, 400, 600, 1000 kg/cm2 gauge. Minus 1 kg/cm2 to 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 kg/cm2.

The gauges shall indicate the water pressure in kilopascal and shall have a range of a maximum of 50% higher than the normal maximum working pressure. All gauge glass must conform to internationally recognized standards. These standards include DIN 7081, BS 3463 and JIS B 8211. A calibration certificate is to be provided with each pressure gauge.

Pressure Gauges. Pressure gauges shall be Xxxxxxx tube type with 100mm diameter dial with needle pointer, normal operating pointer, brass casing, bronze syphon and bronze gauge cock, all suitable for the working pressure of the system. Each gauge shall be calibrated in kPa from Zero to 1.5 times the working pressure at the point selected, all to the Engineer or his Representative’s approval. All pressure gauges shall be fully tropicalized and fitted with a red indicating needle set to show the normal operating position.
