Prior service credit shall not exceed a total of three (3) years. The probationary period prescribed in SectionSection 2.2.1.3 shall be reduced by the amount of prior service credit awarded so that the total probationary period shall not exceed six (6) years (unless the provisions of Section 2.2.1.7 apply).
