Common use of PRO-RATA ENTITLEMENT Clause in Contracts

PRO-RATA ENTITLEMENT. (a) Pro-rata entitlements accrue on termination of employment as follows: (i) after 15 years of service; or (ii) after 10 years of service but before 15 years of service as long as employment ends for any reason other than serious and wilful misconduct pursuant to clause 29 (Termination of Employment). (b) Pro-rata entitlements are calculated as 1/30th of the period of continuous service since beginning employment, or since the last normal long service leave entitlement became due, whichever is later.
