Pro-rated Holiday Clause Samples
A Pro-rated Holiday clause defines how an employee’s holiday entitlement is calculated based on the proportion of the year they have worked. For example, if an employee joins or leaves partway through a holiday year, their annual leave is adjusted to reflect only the period they are employed. This ensures that employees receive a fair allocation of holiday time relative to their actual service, preventing over- or under-allocation of leave.
Pro-rated Holiday. Those employees hired after January 1 of any year shall be entitled to holiday leave only for those holidays occurring after the employee's date of hire.
