Common use of Probationary and Mid Clause in Contracts

Probationary and Mid. Year Performance Evaluations An expectations meeting, in accordance with Section 2 of this Article, will be held with each employee at the time of hire. When the employee’s probationary period ends, the Department Head or designee, with input if applicable from the lead worker or “supervisor” to whom the employee is assigned, will prepare a written performance evaluation of the employee. The end of probationary period performance evaluation may include a self-assessment prepared by the employee, and shall address both an evaluation of the employee’s performance and suggestions for ways that the employee and the Department Head or designee can work to address issues that have arisen. The employee and the Department Head or designee will meet to discuss the end of probationary period performance evaluation, and will document in writing the results of the evaluation and will include in that documentation:
