Professional Growth Award. A professional growth award of $50 upon the completion of 1 professional growth unit (PGU). A maximum of 6 PGUs may be earned in any one school year. All permanent unit members are eligible to participate. The award is payable in January or June of the school year in which it is earned. Payment will be made on 2nd semester classes that end after the June payroll timeline in July/August. Fractional units will not carryover. To qualify for reimbursement, the unit member must submit a transcript with a grade “C” or better or a Certificate of Completion. Successful completion of any approved, accredited college course work will be awarded 6 PGUs. For non-college coursework, including workshops, conferences, or other training through district approved organizations the following PGUs will be awarded:
