Program ERC Members a. International Brotherhood of Teamsters/Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association. The International Brotherhood of Teamsters/Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (IBT/AMFA) will have a designated business agent or union member (and alternate) who is responsible for representing the IBT/AMFA in the daily operation of the ASAP. For Event Reports submitted by Employees represented by the IBT, the Union representative on the ERC will be from the IBT. For Event Reports submitted by Employees represented by AMFA, the Union representative on the ERC will be from AMFA. The IBT/AMFA representative is empowered to complete union-specific aspects of any ASAP investigations. Responsibilities include that the IBT/AMFA representative works with the ERC to ensure union coordination for all investigations, resolving safety- related concerns and recommending corrective actions on behalf of the union. As a member of the ERC, the IBT/AMFA representative will work on behalf of the IBT/AMFA to ensure ERC compliance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
