Project Audit and Claw-back. 6.1. Each Party shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with all financial requirements imposed under any grant terms imposed by central Government for any element of the Programme or Project for which they are the Lead Authority.

Project Audit and Claw-back. 7.1 Each Authority shall ensure that it maintains proper and accurate records of all transactions entered into, including without limitation income received and expenditure incurred by the Authority, its contractors, sub-contractors, servants and agents, in connection with the Transportation Programme, the Joint Commissioning Programme and the Projects and it shall be liable to the Lead Authority on behalf of the other Authorities in respect of any loss or damage suffered by the Authorities as a result of any irregularities or errors in connection with the underlying transactions and in the manner of accounting and recording of such transactions.
