In-line with the directions of Hon‟ble CM, DoIT&C / RISL has undertaken various state-of-the-art ICT initiatives to establish complete participatory and transparent open Governance and Citizen centric digital and e-Governance initiatives for the residents of Rajasthan. DoIT&C has also undertaken various 3D Modeling and digital documentation initiatives for digital preservation of various Heritage Structures and Monuments across Rajasthan. To promote good governance as well as to increase maximum citizen participation, DoIT&C/RISL is organizing major events such as Rajasthan Divas, IT day, Resurgent Rajasthan, Digifest etc to showcase various ICT initiatives. These events have created a platform and mechanism for demonstrating various ICT initiatives undertaken by Govt. Of Rajasthan in the area of e- Governance, citizen centric IT projects, 3D City, 3D based AR/VR models of various historical monuments and heritage buildings etc. In-line with the objectives, DoIT&C has organized “Rajasthan IT Day and Rajasthan Digifest Jaipur 2017” on 21st March 2016 at Jaipur, “Rajasthan Digifest 2017” on 17th Aug 2017 to 18th Aug 2017 at Kota. In these events various ICT and 3D interactive initiative like 3D Walkthrough of City Place, Jantar Mantar using Oculus / Virtual Reality, 3D Holographic Projection of Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxx Xxxxx, Jantar Mantar, 3D Cave Walkthrough of Xxxxxx Xxxx, Interactive floor were showcased. During the events organized in Jaipur and Kota, Hon‟ble Chief Minister experienced these interactive technology based demonstration and highly appreciated the initiatives undertaken so far. Looking to the success of event, Hon‟ble CM has given directions to DoIT&C, to identify and Rate Contract for Setting up of Interactive Digital Amusement Gallery during various events implement more innovative, multidimensional and interactive systems to showcase Rajasthan‟s unique architectural heritage and promoting Rajasthan tourism. In line with the directions of Hon‟ble CM, 7D Cinema on Truck was showcased along with various 3D based interactive initiatives during Udaipur Digifest Event organized on 2nd – 3rd December 2017. These initiatives were highly appreciated by visitors, students, event participants and other Govt. Departments. Considering that similar events would be organized on regular basis over next 12-18 months and in line with the vision of Hon‟ble CM, it has been proposed to enter into the Rate Contract with competent firm for procurement of innovative multidimensional equipment / items, so that multidimensional citizen interactive initiatives can regularly be organized/ showcased in other major events conducted by the Department for the State.
