Protection of Storage Media. West shall ensure that storage media containing Customer Information is properly sanitized of all Customer Information in accordance with DOD5220.22-M (minimum 3-pass wipe) or is destroyed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations prior to disposal or re-use for non-West Processing. All media on which Customer Information is stored shall be protected against unauthorized access or modification. West shall maintain reasonable and appropriate processes and mechanisms to maintain accountability and tracking of the receipt, removal and transfer of storage media used for West Processing or on which Customer Information has been stored.
Protection of Storage Media. Global shall ensure that storage media containing Mercury Information is properly sanitized of all Mercury Information in accordance with ***** or is destroyed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations prior to disposal or re-use for non-Global Processing. All media on which Mercury Information is stored shall be protected against unauthorized access or modification. Global shall maintain reasonable and appropriate processes and mechanisms to maintain accountability and tracking of the receipt, removal and transfer of storage media used for Global Processing or on which Mercury Information has been stored.
Protection of Storage Media. Notified shall ensure that storage media containing Customer Information is properly sanitized of all Customer Information in accordance with DOD5220.22-M (minimum 3-pass wipe) or is destroyed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations prior to disposal or re-use for non- Notified Processing. All media on which Customer Information is stored shall be protected against unauthorized access or modification. Notified shall maintain reasonable and appropriate processes and mechanisms to maintain accountability and tracking of the receipt, removal and transfer of storage media used for Notified Processing or on which Customer Information has been stored.

Provider shall ensure that storage media containing United Information is properly sanitized of all United Information or is destroyed prior to disposal or re-use for non-Provider Processing. All media on which United Information is stored shall be protected against unauthorized access or modification. Provider shall maintain reasonable and appropriate processes and mechanisms to maintain accountability and tracking of the receipt, removal and transfer of storage media used for Provider Processing or on which United Information has been stored.
Protection of Storage Media. Acquirer shall ensure that storage media containing Acquirer’s Confidential Information is properly sanitized of all Acquirer’s Confidential Information in accordance with DOD5220.22-M (minimum 3-pass wipe) or is destroyed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations prior to disposal or re-use for non- Acquirer-related use. All media on which Acquirer’s Confidential Information is stored shall be protected against unauthorized access or modification. Acquirer shall maintain reasonable and appropriate processes and mechanisms to maintain accountability and tracking of the receipt, removal and transfer of storage media used for Planet Payment Services or on which Acquirer’s Confidential Information has been stored.
Protection of Storage Media. Cognizant shall delete Personal Data from all storage media prior to disposal or re-use. All media on which Personal Data is stored shall be protected against unauthorized access or modification. Cognizant shall maintain reasonable and appropriate processes and mechanisms designed to maintain accountability and tracking of the receipt, removal and transfer of storage media used for Cognizant Processing or on which Personal Data has been stored.

Data Center shall ensure that storage media containing Sensitive Information is properly sanitized of all Sensitive Information or is destroyed prior to disposal or re-use for non-Data Center processing. All media on which Sensitive Information is stored shall be protected against unauthorized access or modification. Data Center shall maintain reasonable and appropriate processes and mechanisms to maintain accountability and tracking of the receipt, removal and transfer of storage media used for Data Center processing or on which Sensitive Information has been stored.
