PROTECTION OF TEACHERS, STUDENTS AND PROPERTY. A teacher may use and apply such amounts of force as reasonable and necessary as provided for in Title 18- A. 1. To quell a disturbance threatening physical injury to others. 2. To obtain possession of weapons or other dangerous objects upon the person or within the control of a pupil. 3. For the purpose of self-defense. 4. For the protection of personsor property. Teachers shall immediately report cases of assault suffered by them in connection with their employment to their principal or other immediate superior followed by a full written report of the incident. Teachers shall immediately report cases of assault upon pupils to their principal or other immediate superior followed by a full written report of the incident.
