• Long Term Care The City may offer an option for employees to purchase a new long-term care benefit for themselves and certain family members.

• Provision for Generation Compensation Grid unavailability in a contract year as defined in the PPA: (only period from 8 am to 6 pm to be counted): Generation Loss = [(Average Generation per hour during the Contract Year) × (number of hours of grid unavailability during the Contract Year)] Where, Average Generation per hour during the Contract Year (kWh) = Total generation in the Contract Year (kWh) ÷ Total hours of generation in the Contract Year. The excess generation by the SPD equal to this generation loss shall be procured by the Buying Utility at the PSA tariff so as to offset this loss in the succeeding 3 (three) Contract Years.

• Long Term Leave Any employee who declines a reappointment as a Teaching Assistant in order to interrupt his/her program of graduate study for a period not to exceed one (1) year will not jeopardize his/her consideration for reappointment under Article l3.03.

• Long Term Leaves a. A unit member may be granted a leave of absence, with or without pay, by the Board of Education upon recommendation of the Superintendent or designee for a period not to exceed one (1) year when such action is not contrary to the best interests of the District.

• Long Term Occasional Teachers or teachers hired in term positions, shall be eligible for the SEB as described herein for a maximum of eight (8) weeks with the length of the benefit limited by the term of the assignment. Teachers on daily casual assignments are not entitled to the benefits outlined in this article.

• Long Term Cost Evaluation Criterion 4. READ CAREFULLY and see in the RFP document under "Proposal Scoring and Evaluation". Points will be assigned to this criterion based on your answer to this Attribute. Points are awarded if you agree not increase your catalog prices (as defined herein) more than X% annually over the previous year for the life of the contract, unless an exigent circumstance exists in the marketplace and the excess price increase which exceeds X% annually is supported by documentation provided by you and your suppliers and shared with TIPS, if requested. If you agree NOT to increase prices more than 5%, except when justified by supporting documentation, you are awarded 10 points; if 6% to 14%, except when justified by supporting documentation, you receive 1 to 9 points incrementally. • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

• Long-Term Substitute Teachers Long-term substitute teachers who teach continuously for more than thirty (30) days on the same assignment (replacing one individual teacher) shall be paid according to their appropriate lane and step on the Teacher’s Salary Schedule. The maximum experience credit shall be based on the guidelines set forth in Article VIII, Section 1, Subd. 1. This provision is not retroactive.

• Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) means services and supports (including for example PCA services and home care nursing services) provided to Enrollees of all ages who have functional limitations and/or chronic illnesses, that have the primary purpose of supporting the ability of the Enrollee to live or work in the setting of their choice, which may include the Enrollee's home, a worksite, a provider-owned or controlled residential setting, a nursing facility, or other institutional setting.
