Provision of Reasonable Time for Delegate Duties. Following approval by the relevant manager or supervisor accredited workplace representatives or delegates will be allowed reasonable paid time to: • Consult with union members and with officials of the delegates' union. • Interview the Company representatives on matters affecting Employees they represent. • Keep the Employee they represent briefed and informed about issues arising from the Agreement and other industrial matters, including but not limited to the distribution of authorised union materials. • Represent the interests of members before industrial tribunals. Workplace representatives or union delegates who are approved to attend conferences between the unions and management, including attendance at the FWC by up to 2 delegates, shall be paid for the time spent at such conference as per their roster if they would have otherwise lost pay for the said time. Subject to negotiation with and approval by local management, the Company will permit paid meetings of delegates.

  • Administrative Remedy for Agreement Interpretation Should any question arise as to the meaning and intent of this Agreement, the question shall, prior to any other action or resort to any other legal remedy, be referred to Purchasing who shall decide the true meaning and intent of the Agreement.

  • Delegation of Responsibility Transmission Provider may use the services of subcontractors as it deems appropriate to perform its obligations under this LGIP. Transmission Provider shall remain primarily liable to Interconnection Customer for the performance of such subcontractors and compliance with its obligations of this LGIP.   • Acknowledgement of Services and Responsibility of the Manager The Resident acknowledges that neither the Manager nor the Institution stands in loco parentis with respect to the Resident. The Residence provides living accommodations for independent students who are to be responsible and accountable for their personal needs and their interactions with their fellow residents as opposed to residential care. The Manager is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the residence. The Manager, in consultation with the Institution, may from time to time, in its sole and unfettered discretion, establish and/or amend policies, protocols and guidelines to uphold and ensure compliance with the standards set forth by the Manager, all of which will constitute part of the Residence Community Living Standards or Institution Code of Conduct, as appropriate. The Resident hereby acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for their compliance with / review of such policies, protocols and guidelines (as may be created, amended, revised or restated by the Manager) found at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.

  • Your Rights and Our Responsibilities After We Receive Your Written Notice We must acknowledge your letter within 30 days, unless we have corrected the error by then. Within 90 days, we must either correct the error or explain why we believe the statement was correct. After we receive your letter, we cannot try to collect any amount you question or report you as delinquent. We can continue to bill you for the amount you question, including FINANCE CHARGES, and we can apply any unpaid amount against your credit limit. You do not have to pay any questioned amount while we are investigating, but you are still obligated to pay the parts of your statement that are not in question. If we find that we made a mistake on your statement, you will not have to pay any FINANCE CHARGES related to any questioned amount. If we didn’t make a mistake, you may have to pay FINANCE CHARGES and you will have to make up any missed payments on the questioned amount. In either case, we will send you a statement of the amount you owe and the date that it is due. If you fail to pay the amount that we think you owe, we may report you as delinquent. However, if our explanation does not satisfy you and you write to us within 10 days telling us that you still refuse to pay, we must tell anyone we report you to that you have a question about your statement. And, we must tell you the name of anyone we reported you to. We must tell anyone we report you to that the matter has been settled between us when it finally is. If we don’t follow these rules, we can’t collect the first $50.00 of the questioned amount, even if your statement was correct.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • PERFORMANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS The Commissioner reserves the right to investigate or inspect at any time whether or not the Product, services, qualifications or facilities offered by the Bidder/Contractor meet the requirements set forth in the Bid Specifications/Contract or as set forth during Contract negotiations. Contractor shall at all times during the Contract term remain responsible and responsive. A Bidder/Contractor must be prepared, if requested by the Commissioner, to present evidence of legal authority to do business in New York State, integrity, experience, ability, prior performance, organizational and financial capacity as well as where applicable, a statement as to supply, plant, machinery and capacity of the manufacturer or source for the production, distribution and servicing of the Product offered/Bid. If the Commissioner determines that the conditions and terms of the Bid Documents, Bid Specifications or Contract are not complied with, or that items, services or Product proposed to be furnished do not meet the specified requirements, or that the legal authority, integrity experience, ability, prior performance, organization and financial capacity or facilities are not satisfactory, the Commissioner may reject such Bid or terminate the Contract.

  • Assignment of Responsibilities The parties understand that, while hourly rate may be used in statistical calculations or to report the fulfillment of duties to governing agencies, graduate assistants who are employed as research, teaching or instructional assistants (Class codes 9181, 9182, 9183, 9184, 9550) are salaried employees. Graduate assistants employed in Class code 9185 are appointed as non-exempt hourly employees and will need to complete a time sheet. Time clocks shall not be used to record work hours.

  • Termination of Contractor’s Responsibilities This Agreement will be considered complete when all work has been completed and accepted by the COUNTY and all warranty periods have expired. The CONTRACTOR will then be released from further obligation except as set forth in this Agreement.

  • POSITIONS OF SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITY 1. The Board, in consultation and agreement with the Union, will draw up job descriptions for all Positions of Special Responsibility, including, but not limited to, Head Teachers, Department Heads, Helping Teachers and Teachers in Charge. These descriptions shall be recognized as the job descriptions for such positions.
