Common use of Provisional Employee Clause in Contracts

Provisional Employee. New employees to the district with less than two years of K-12 certificated experience are in provisional status for up to three (3) years. New employees to the district with at least two years of K-12 certificated experience in another district are subject to provisional status for no more than one (1) year. All classroom teachers in provisional status shall be on the comprehensive evaluation as required by statute.
