PTO AND EIB FOR L&I LEAVE. ‌ In the event of an occupational illness or injury, PTO or EIB, after PTO has been exhausted and the other EIB requirements have been met, may be used at the employee's request, for lost work time not covered by Workers' Compensation Insurance. PTO or EIB, after PTO has been exhausted and the other EIB requirements have been met, can be integrated with Workers' Compensation to the extent available to continue normal earnings.
