Mourner's Leave. One (1) day's leave shall be granted without loss of pay or wages to attend a funeral as a pallbearer.
Mourner's Leave. One-half (1/2) day shall be granted without loss of salary or wages, on a working day, to attend a funeral as a pallbearer at the discretion of the Department Head.
Mourner's Leave. (a) Full-time employees may be granted one-half (½) day leave with pay to attend the funeral of a member of the Union in the capacity of pallbearer.
(b) Full-time employees may be granted one-half (½) day leave with pay to attend the funeral of an employee, to a maximum of two (2) employees.
Mourner's Leave. Up to one-half (½) duty shift leave may be granted without loss of pay to attend a funeral if the service occurs within the boundaries of Mission, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford or Chilliwack. If the service is outside these boundaries an employee may be granted one (1) duty shift leave without loss of salary or wages.
Mourner's Leave. A one-half (1/2) day leave shall be granted, without pay, to attend as a pallbearer or mourner. Where the family of a deceased employee requests pallbearers from the Union, the Employer may grant the necessary leave with pay to be recovered from Local 4148 for up to six (6) pallbearers.
Mourner's Leave. (a) Four (4) hours' leave shall be granted without loss of salary or wages to attend a funeral as a mourner in Quesnel.
(b) One full day leave shall be granted without loss of salary or wages to attend a funeral as a pallbearer or as a mourner out of town. Provided that an employee shall give at least one (1) day’s notice to the City.
Mourner's Leave. Upon application to the Department Head, an amount of time up to a maximum of half (1/2) day leave of absence without deduction of pay to attend a funeral or memorial service may be granted. The half day may be extended to a full day if the employee has a significant role in arranging or conducting the service or ceremony, for example, as a pallbearer.
Mourner's Leave. An employee shall be granted one-half (1/2) up to one (1) day's leave of absence with pay to attend a funeral, provided such employee has the consent of their Department Head.
Mourner's Leave i) Employees will be allowed four (4) hours off, with pay, to attend the funeral of an employee of the Board or an immediate family member of an employee, or a student.
ii) Employees will be allowed four (4) hours off, with pay, when acting as a pallbearer.
iii) Employees will be allowed four (4) hours off, without pay, to attend a funeral other than the above.
Mourner's Leave. Up to four (4) hours leave with pay shall be granted to two (2) employees selected by fellow workers to attend the funeral of a fellow employee or a retired employee or one of his/her immediate family. An employee designated to act as pallbearer for a fellow employee shall be allowed a leave of absence of one-half day with pay.
