Common use of PTO Schedules Clause in Contracts

PTO Schedules. PTO for other than emergency or unforeseen illness must be approved in advance by the Employer. The Employer shall determine the number of employees who can be excused from work for PTO purposes at any one time and shall prepare schedules accordingly. It shall be the practice of the Employer to schedule PTO absences over as wide a period as possible in order to obviate the need for hiring temporary personnel. PTO may not be used, at any time, in increments of less than one-quarter (1/4) hour.
