Common use of PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND UNIVERSITY HOLIDAYS Clause in Contracts

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND UNIVERSITY HOLIDAYS. (a) An employee will be entitled to observe the following days, or days proclaimed as holidays in substitution for those days, without loss of pay:  New Year’s Day  Australia Day  Canberra Day (UNSW@ADFA only)  Good Friday  Easter Monday  Anzac Day  Queen’s Birthday  Labour Day  Christmas Day  Boxing Day  August Bank Holiday (to be taken on the first weekday after Boxing Day)  all other proclaimed Public Holidays for the state of NSW and the ACT (as applicable)
