PUBLIC INFORMATION & EDUCATION. The City publishes a newsletter semi-annually that is mailed to all residents and businesses. Periodically the newsletter contains recycling and yard waste information. The City website also provides recycling and yard waste details such as a list of acceptable and unacceptable materials as well as proper procedures and instructions. Contractor shall provide examples of public education tools that can be utilized by the City. All public information distributed to the residents shall be first approved by the City. Contractor is responsible to inform the customers as to materials that are prohibited or unacceptable for collection by distributing educational tags or other means.
PUBLIC INFORMATION & EDUCATION. The Parties agree that public education in areas of pollution prevention, which includes oil, hazardous substances and garbage, is a high priority and that each agency shall seek opportunities to coordinate pollution prevention public awareness and education programs.
