Public Safety. A. The first sentence of the eighth paragraph of Section 7-1.04, "Public Safety," of the 2018 Standard Specifications is amended to read: “Signs, lights, flags, and other warning and safety devices and their use shall conform to the requirements set forth in Part 6 of the California Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).” B. Any work performed on or near a roadway must be in accordance with safety standards set forth in Sections 7-1.03, "Public Convenience," and 7-1.04, "Public Safety," of the 2018 Standard Specifications.
