Purpose and background of the MoU. It is recognised that nuclear medicine physics and radiopharmaceutical science are growing and therefore changing fields. On some matters, collaborative efforts between related professions will be beneficial to the nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical science community and will help to promote safe and effective patient care and healthcare careers. ANZSNM is a professional society for chemists, nurses, physicians, physicists, radiopharmacists, technologists and other related professions who practice nuclear medicine in Australia and New Zealand. Similarly, ACPSEM is a professional association that represents medical physicists, radiopharmaceutical scientists, and engineers in medicine including Nuclear medicine, across Australia and New Zealand. Increasing scientific interactions and professional and strategic relationships between ANZSNM and ACPSEM are in the interest of both groups’ members as well as the expanded nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical science community in Australia and New Zealand. This MoU seeks to define such relationships and to identify areas where collaboration between ANZSNM and ACPSEM could be beneficial to its respective members and the profession of nuclear medicine overall.

  • Background Screening VENDOR shall comply with all requirements of Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes, and all of its personnel who (1) are to be permitted access to school grounds when students are present, (2) will have direct contact with students, or (3) have access or control of school funds, will successfully complete the background screening required by the referenced statutes and meet the standards established by the statutes. This background screening will be conducted by SBBC in advance of VENDOR or its personnel providing any services under the conditions described in the previous sentence. VENDOR shall bear the cost of acquiring the background screening required by Section 1012.32, Florida Statutes, and any fee imposed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to maintain the fingerprints provided with respect to VENDOR and its personnel. The parties agree that the failure of VENDOR to perform any of the duties described in this section shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement entitling SBBC to terminate immediately with no further responsibilities or duties to perform under this Agreement. VENDOR agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SBBC, its officers and employees from any liability in the form of physical or mental injury, death or property damage resulting from VENDOR’s failure to comply with the requirements of this section or with Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes.

(the "Fund") dated August 21, 1996 (the "Agreement"), the parties desire to amend the Agreement.

  • PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THIS AGREEMENT The intent of this Agreement is to establish uniform conditions of employment for Gas Inspector workers, as hereinafter provided. Due to the nature of this specialized workforce, the parties recognize and agree to cost shifting of the normal benefit structure of the industry. At such time, the parties establish a training program, and new workforce, they will address, and place into effect the normal wage and benefit structure outlined in the Outside Line Construction Labor Agreement.   • Knowledge and Scholarship in Special Field Each certificated support person demonstrates a depth and breadth of knowledge of theory and content in the special field. He demonstrates an understanding of a knowledge about common school education and the educational milieu grades K12, and demonstrates the ability to integrate the area of specialty into the total school milieu, to wit:

  • Criminal Background Investigations For investigative Vendor Staff, Citizens will accept a copy of a current Class C Private Investigator license as proof that a criminal background check has been conducted for that investigator. For all other Vendor Staff, Vendor must provide Citizens with a copy of a criminal background check performed on such Vendor Staff dated within thirty (30) days of submission of the Vendor Staff to Citizens for qualification and credentialing review. Vendor shall use Exhibit D, Applicant Background Review Guide to as a guideline to determine eligibility of Vendor Staff to perform Services. The criminal background check must be updated every two (2) years thereafter. All background checks will be at Vendor’s expense and, unless otherwise approved in writing by Citizens’ Contract Manager, shall include but not be limited to: (a) state and federal felony convictions or pending adjudications; (b) state and federal misdemeanor convictions or pending adjudications; (c) any crimes in violation of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1995 or pending adjudications; and, (d) a seven (7) year minimum timeframe, extending as close as practicable to the date of Assignment to perform Services. Vendor will advise Citizens’ Contract Manager or designee if it knows of any Vendor Staff that has a criminal conviction (misdemeanor or felony), regardless of adjudication (adjudication withheld, a plea of guilty or nolo contendere, or a guilty verdict), within the last ten (10) years in any jurisdiction. Vendor shall not allow that individual to act as a Vendor Staff until Vendor determines whether that individual should be allowed to do so considering (a) the nature and gravity of the offense; (b) the amount of time that lapsed since the offense;

  • Foreign-Owned Companies in Connection with Critical Infrastructure If Texas Government Code, Section 2274.0102(a)(1) (relating to prohibition on contracts with certain foreign-owned companies in connection with critical infrastructure) is applicable to this Contract, pursuant to Government Code Section 2274.0102, Contractor certifies that neither it nor its parent company, nor any affiliate of Contractor or its parent company, is: (1) majority owned or controlled by citizens or governmental entities of China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, or any other country designated by the Governor under Government Code Section 2274.0103, or (2) headquartered in any of those countries.

  • SCOPE OF THE WORK The Contractor shall furnish all the materials, perform all of the Work, and do all things required by the Contract Documents.
