Purpose and Frequency of Evaluation. The purposes of employee evaluation shall be to validate, strengthen and improve instruction. The evaluation process shall be directly related to the District Evaluative Competencies. Probationary employees shall be evaluated at least annually; tenured employees shall be evaluated every other year. However, tenured employees may be evaluated annually upon transfer to a new site or with a “Needs to Improve” or “Unsatisfactory” rating on the most recent Summative Evaluation Report.
