Common use of Purpose of Fee Clause in Contracts

Purpose of Fee. a. Subject to the conditions set forth in 1.b. below, all eligible nonmember employees in this unit will be required to pay to the majority representative beginning thirty (30) days after signing of the Agreement a representation fee in lieu of dues for services rendered by the majority representative. Nothing herein shall be deemed to require any employee to become a member of the majority representative.
