Common use of Purpose of Fee Clause in Contracts

Purpose of Fee. If a member of this bargaining unit does not become a member of the Association during any membership year which is covered by this Agreement, in whole or in part, said employee will be required to pay a representation fee to this Association for that membership year. The purpose of this fee will be to offset the employee's per capita cost of services rendered by the Association as majority representative.

Purpose of Fee. If a member of this bargaining unit an employee does not become a member of the Association during any membership year (i.e. from September 1 to the following August 31) which is covered by this Agreement, in whole or in partpart by this Agreement, said employee will be required to pay a representation fee to this Association the association for that membership year. The purpose of this fee will be to offset the employee's employees per capita cost of services rendered by the Association as majority representative.
