Common use of Purpose of Fee Clause in Contracts

Purpose of Fee. If an Aide (hereinafter “Employee”) does not become a member of the Association during any membership year (i.e., from July 1 to the following June 30) which is covered in whole or in part by this Agreement, said Employee will be required to pay a representation fee to the Association for that membership year (pro rated from the date of the Employee’s initial employment) to offset the costs of services rendered by the Association as majority representative.
