Common use of Purpose of the Bank Clause in Contracts

Purpose of the Bank. The purpose of the Sick Leave Bank is to enable a member of the bargaining unit(s) covered by Stoneham Teachers Association ESP collective bargaining agreements, upon the exhaustion of his/her individual sick leave allotment (both annual and accumulated), to receive extended sick leave without loss of income during time of accident, disability or prolonged illness, subject to the conditions of the STA/SCC Sick Leave Bank Agreement and the guidelines adopted by the Sick Leave Bank Committee.

Purpose of the Bank. The purpose intent of the this Sick Leave Bank is to enable a member of the bargaining unit(s) covered by Stoneham Teachers Association ESP collective bargaining agreements, upon the exhaustion of his/her individual sick leave allotment (both annual and accumulated), to receive provide extended sick leave without loss benefits to those members who personally incur a period of income during time of accident, disability or prolonged extended illness, injury or hospitalization. Short term illnesses, with the exception of pregnancy-related complications, are not subject to the conditions use of the STA/SCC following Sick Leave Bank Agreement and the guidelines adopted by the Sick Leave Bank Committeeprovisions.
