Common use of Purpose of the SLB Clause in Contracts

Purpose of the SLB. The purpose of the SLB is to enable teachers, upon the exhaustion of their individual sick leave allotment (both annual and accumulated), to receive extended sick leave without loss of income according to the guidelines of the SLB and during a prolonged illness or disability and when a teacher has the expectation and possibility to return to work at full capacity.
