An employee on a leave under this article that qualifies per the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is eligible to continue to participate in group insurance programs, if permitted under the insurance policy provisions, and shall continue to pay the employee contribution to the insurance premium for any month during which the FMLA-qualified leave falls.
