Common use of Railroad Insurance Clause in Contracts

Railroad Insurance. In the event that railroad property is affected by the subject price agreement, the Vendor, in addition to the above requirements, shall be required to furnish a Railroad Protective Liability policy in the name of the railroad company involved. In addition, on those rails that are used by the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (NRPC), the Vendor will also obtain a Railroad Protective Liability Policy in the name of NRPC. The limits of liability for the Railroad Protective Liability Policy (or policies) must be negotiated with the railroad company on a hazard and risk basis.
