RATE OF PAY ON TEMPORARY PROMOTION. An employee assigned to a higher classification to fill a vacancy caused by an approved leave of absence, or any other reasons stipulated by this Agreement, and who serves in said higher classification for forty (40) consecutive hours, shall thereafter be paid according to the pay range of the class to which he has been temporarily promoted. Upon temporary promotion, an employee will receive either the minimum of the new pay range or a five percent (5%) increase over his present rate of pay, whichever is greater. In no case shall such pay adjustment place the employee beyond the highest point on the pay range of the position to which he has been temporarily promoted. An employee so temporarily promoted shall receive this rate of pay as long as he continues to serve in said higher classification and shall be entitled to receive increases within the range for the position as provided in this Agreement as though he had been appointed on the day he began to receive the rate of pay designated for the position. The 40- hour waiting period shall apply each time an employee is assigned to a higher classification in this manner.

  • Rate of Pay on Promotion 44.3.1 When an employee is appointed by the Council to a higher classification level in the same group, he shall be paid at the nearest rate in the new classification level which gives the employee a salary increase not less than the minimum increment of the higher classification level to which he is being appointed by the Council.   • Rate of Pay a. An Employee who is employed as a teacher teaching on call shall be paid 1/189 of his/her category classification and experience, to a maximum of the rate at Category 5 Step 7, for each full day worked. b.   • Sleeping Room Rate(s) A. The Contractor shall provide sleeping rooms to the Attendees at the following rate during the Program: i. For single occupancy room, $@@@.@@ per night per room. B. The Contractor agrees that it will waive all applicable taxes and surcharges for Attendees listed on the Master Account Approval List, pursuant to the Hotel/Motel Transient Occupancy Tax Waiver (Exemption Certificate for State Agencies) form signed by the Judicial Council and included in this Agreement in Exhibit H. C. The Contractor may xxxx tax and/or surcharges, and/or tourism fees, if any, in addition to as included in the sleeping room rate, as set forth in this provision. D.   • Salary on Promotion An employee shall be given an increase to the next higher rate in the new salary range effective on the date of promotion.

  • Currency and method of payments All payments to be made by the Lenders or by the Borrower under a Finance Document shall be made to the Agent or to the Security Trustee, in the case of an amount payable to it: (a) by not later than 11.00 a.m. (New York City time) on the due date; (b) in same day Dollar funds settled through the New York Clearing House Interbank Payments System (or in such other Dollar funds and/or settled in such other manner as the Agent shall specify as being customary at the time for the settlement of international transactions of the type contemplated by this Agreement); (c) in the case of an amount payable by a Lender to the Agent or by the Borrower to the Agent or any Lender, to such account with such bank as the Agent may from time to time notify to the Borrower and the other Creditor Parties; and (d) in the case of an amount payable to the Security Trustee, to such account as it may from time to time notify to the Borrower and the other Creditor Parties.

  • Definition of Regular Straight Time Rate of Pay The regular straight time rate of pay is that prescribed in wage schedule of the Collective Agreement.

  • INTEREST ON ARREARS Any interest instalment unpaid on maturity shall yield interest, of right and without formal notice, at the same rate as applicable to the portion of the loan whose interest is unpaid on maturity, such interest being payable to the Lender on request.
